Our Mission
The Vinton Museum is operated by the Vinton Historical Society, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to researching and documenting items of historical relevance.
In order to fulfill this mission, we
• Preserve historical documents and artifacts for future generations;
• Research and document items of historical significance;
• Promote educational opportunities for the community;
• Partner with the Town of Vinton and the County of Roanoke to provide a museum worthy of our citizens.
